Dose Drives Adaptation
Think of training like sun exposure.
A little sun, done consistently, leads to a tan over time. Your body adapts. It gets stronger and more resilient because the exposure is just enough, repeated often, and spaced out with time to recover.
Too little sun and nothing changes. No adaptation. No color. Just the same result day after day.
Too much sun all at once and you don’t get “extra tan.” You get burned. Now your body isn’t adapting, it’s just trying to heal. Progress pauses while damage control kicks in.
Training works the same way. Consistent, manageable exposure builds strength and fitness over time. Overdo it and you’re not accelerating results, you’re delaying them. The goal isn’t to fry yourself. It’s to show up, get the right dose, recover, and come back ready for more.
